10 Secrets of Happy High Achievers: PART 2

Happy July! I hope these words find you well and enjoying an excellent summer! Here are the final secrets to help you better understand the optimized mindsets of ambitious achievers who live with happiness and sustainable success:

Secret #6: They know their internal worth is NOT beholden to external validation or disapproval. They are enough—exactly as they are.
They are energized and empowered with the courage to take the necessary risks to go after their goals and dreams—because they understand they are not defined by others’ views of them. So, they’re no longer limited by the stress and fear of needing to prove their worthiness in the world.

Secret #7: They don’t wait for conditions to be perfect to go after their dreams.
They understand the power of taking action. Starting. That the best way to achieve their goals—is to begin—now.

Secret #8: They know to achieve excellence—they have to do the work.
They don’t expect anyone else to believe in their dreams more than they do. And they don’t expect others to do the work for them. Yes, they’ll often have a fantastic team of people helping them, but they know they can’t outsource the important stuff (that which is essential to the work). They understand: there is no hack. Things of greatness take hard work.

Secret #9: They go all in.
They lead with their whole heart. They choose a direction (what they want for themselves—their lives and legacies) and then go all in, focusing on doing the work to accomplish it. They prioritize the crucial elements of time, energy, and attention.

Secret #10: Clarity, truth, joy, meaning, and forward movement are their North Stars.
They defeat distraction, deception, noise, and complacency with their awareness, perseverance, and continued curiosity about the world. And their dedication to moving forward, trusting that the dots ultimately will connect, accelerates their success and propels them to be their best.
